After 16 years of friendship, 8 of them dating and 4 of them married, Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto have confirmed that their relationship and marriage has come to an end.
Just yesterday, on the 23rd February 2017, we saw them attend the Oscar Wilde Awards together, they both seemed rather happy but didn't really spend much time together - nonetheless nobody saw it coming that the dream pair have split.
Quinto stated that their relationship just wasn't working anymore, that they have grown apart and that they both would be happier without each other. They still see each other constantly as for the sake of their son, whom they adopted just two years ago, but there just isn't anything romantic in their relationship anymore. Friends said that they try to stay friends but it's for both sides hard, according to them, because the split up didn't run smoothly but was rather nasty as one of the two recently split ups still had/has feelings for the other.
"They constantly fought, got into fights about literally nothing. You rarely ever saw them smile together anymore - all in all it was just really hard, not only for them but also for their families and friends.", says a good friend, "It was hard, they always used to joke around each other and they practically couldn't ever stop laughing, but that stopped over time. You could feel the tension between them, it wasn't healthy anymore."
Chris has yet to make a comment about the recent break up.
