A new wave of corona virus cases has been confirmed Thursday morning in both Bonn and Bad Honnef. 32 new cases were confirmed in Bonn, 4 of which were students from the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhems-Universität Bonn, and 11 of which were elderly people. 25 new cases were confirmed in Bad Honnef, 15 of which were students from IUBH Bad Honnef. Sources suggest that the virus was spread during a party, where one of the students was asymptomatic and spread the virus unknowingly. Friends, family and acquaintances are being contacted to investigate any spread of the virus. Further details will be released shortly.
