People loved the movie Prisoners. It was about two girls who got kidnapped and drugged. Detective Loki tried to find them. One girl was Anna who got played by Serena. At this moment she was 9/ 10 years old, now she is 16 years old.
A second part? A continue?
Yes! It’s true! The director and producer spoke the last 2 weeks about a second part and now they wanna do it. They wanna put again Jake Gyllenhaal as Detective Loki in the movie, Hugh Jackman and Serena who played Anna. There will be also other main characters.
But why did we have to wait 7 years for that?
Easy to answer. They didn’t planned to do a second part. But now as Serena grow up and she got famous for her Marvel parts, the producers thought it was perfect to make a second part.
How about the cast?
Jake Gyllenhaal said in an Interview with Serena that he really wants to do as many movies with her as possible. They made together in 2018 the second Spiderman movie Far From Home. Jake played Mysterio, the villain. Serena played Sofi, the savior from the world with Spiderman.
Devis Villeneuve said today in an interview who will be released soon, this: «When I heard that Jake and Serena have a good connection, I finally woke up. I had hope for an second Prisoners movie. Like a lot of people know, Serena got famous for playing her role in the Marvel Universe, she is one of the famous person in Marvel since 2011. But when I saw the Far From Home movie and I saw the kinda thing between Jake and Serena, the acting skills, I was really happy. I knew exactly, that this could be the beginning for the next movie. And now we spoke for a long time for that, and we are sure to do that»
The movie will be released in January 2020.
Everybody from the cast is happy about the decision to continue the story!
