According to the official statement from the European Parliament Brexit will result in visa adoption for the citizens of both UK and the EU.

The first bitter consequence for travelers after Brexit is on hand: The European Parliament announced a visa adoption for the citizens of UK and EU. Passengers from United Kingdom should be prepared to pay an amount of 90 Euros for a visa if they want to visit an1 European country. The visa will have a duration of three months. To receive a visa the UK citizens will have to go through the standard application procedure, including submitting their personal data and going to an interview, after which they will be notified about the result. In case passengers want to extend their visa, they will have to apply again. Similar is the situation for the EU citizens. The only difference is that they will receive a visa for three months with an option of direct extension for further 3 months, meaning they won’t have to apply again. Special regulations will apply for students and employees, which are about to be announced.
