Todd Howard promises Elder Scrolls 6 for 2020

According to the statement of Todd Howard, Head Developer of the Bethesda Game Studios and main developer of the past Elder Scrolls titles, Elder Scrolls 6 is about to come sooner than anyone expected. In an interview with Gordon Seaman, he promised: "We know the fans are waiting out there, and they waited long enough. Elder Scrolls 6 will come to the end of 2020, maybe early 2021. Mark my words."
Questions about the story were kept unanswered. But he announced the reveal of a new trailer in the following month. "We read a lot of fan speculation, and while some of them were incredibly good, none of them hit the path we're planning to take. We talked a lot with an old friend of ours, and he gave us dynamite."
The old friend is a clear reference to Michael Kirkbride, former writer of the Elder Scrolls lore. None the less he didn't state anything to this so far.
