Ryu’s Focus Attack (Saving Attack) is Ryu's down special in Super Smash Bros. 4. When the special button is held, Ryu will emanate a black aura and begin charging up a powerful punch. With that Attack Ryu gains “super armor“ when charging this move that can resist a single hit before they affect him as normal. The effect of „super armor“ will be patched, because a lot of players have complained about it. Ryu is now vulnerable to the first attack.
