Hamburg - After another marginal, yet devastating loss in the AFC Norderstedt, Big J Mindfuckers' General Manager Janik Flint finds himself more and more criticised. What seemed to be a "must-win"-matchup against Steffen Gjedrem's "Rothosen"-Team, afflicted by a few players on bye, this weekend started off great for Flint, leaving him with a 26 point lead before the final game of the week monday night. However, Gjedrem's three starters in the Lions - Packers game managed to gather 27.3 points, making "Rothosen" beat "Big J Mindfuckers" by 0.52 points. Flint has admittedly been quite unlucky, losing both Aaron Rodgers and first-round pick David Johnson to injuries and being in second place in the breakdown standings. Quite some of the missed opportunities are in addition to blame on assistant coach Michael Fabiano who is by far not performing up to standard this year. Still, being last in the six team league at 3-6 does not equal the roster potential and leaves fans unsatisfied. If Flint turns out not to be able to turn the tables around this week with a win and, by that, staying in the hunt for a playoff spot, he might have to start worrying about his job.
