The yearly Abitur in the subjects German, English and Maths was planned to be held in May 2017. The hype-train was on the roll when students finished their second to last week on Friday but a few hours later Dr. Ludwig Spaenle opened up to the press about a hacking attack on the ministry.
Apparently some files got corrupted and about three tasks have to be written from scratch.
The new date is estimated to be in August 2017.
